Our lab studies how the membrane and proteins around a cell's nucleus work together to understand how disruptions to these structures contribute to genetic diseases and cancer. We're especially interested in what happens when the membrane breaks and repairs itself, a process linked to DNA damage, inflammation, and the way cancer cells spread.
